Rosemarie DeHaan has over 18+ years of teaching experience after having spent many years in marketing and public relations. Her background in teaching ranges from Reading Specialist to an Art major to Drama Teacher, as well as a little Math and Social Studies. Mrs. Dehaan has directed several sellout shows starring St. Thomas 5th grade students. The melodramas, dramas,and musicals were performed at the nearby Clear Creek Community Theater in Nassau Bay. One of the favorite events Mrs. Dehaan has put together each year at St. Thomas School has been the 5th Grade Talent Show.
This year, 2008-9, will be a little different: Pre-K through 2nd 9 weeks Drama, 9 weeks Art, 9 weeks Drama, 9 weeks Art. Yes! The younger members will be exposed to the magic of theater. The schedule will be reversed for Grades 3-5.

November - Pilgrim Play (4th)
December - Las Posadas (2nd)
January - Nifty 50s (5th)
February - Goldilocks (3rd)
May - Talent Show (5th)
* 5th Grade only will perform at the theater - all other shows planned for Krist Hall.
Art will be exciting and diverse involving many different artists and a variety of medium.
