Music has always played a large part in my life. As a small child I could sing the words to practically every commercial jingle. I played clarinet in my school band for 7 years and sang in choirs through college. I even toured Europe with my college choir performing Haydn's The Seasons. I have performed leading roles in musical theather in high school, college and community theater. I have been teaching preschool music for 14 years, and here for a total of 4 years.

This year I plan to ask the children to call me Ms Janet. This will hopefully avoid confusing me with Mrs. Baker, the librarian.
