Hi, my name is Mrs. Garcia and I want to welcome you to the Mariner Class! The Mariners are a busy group. I believe that a young child learns through play. This is the job of a preschooler. We will be learning so much throughout the year.

Daily activities will include Learning Centers, Circle/Story Time, Outdoor Playtime, Special Classes (Religion, Music, Cooking, P.E., Spanish, Art) as well as library time and free play. Learning Centers will allow your child to experience a variety of things such as Math, Science, Dramatic Play, Gross and Fine Motor Skills, Language Skills, Sand and Water Play and many opportunities for social interaction.

I have been teaching Pre-School since 1996, the last 5 years here at
St. Thomas. I am proud to be a native Texan! My husband and I are parents to 3 boys ages 18, 13 and 12. My family is involved in various outdoor activities including riding motorcycles, boating and especially drag racing where my husband and my 2 oldest boys are drivers.
